Today's Webtip: GWAR plays Pet Shop Boys
One of the things I really like about Halloween (and Fasching) is the chance to stop being me. Being able to slip out of your daily identity and just letting loose as someone completely different can be a heady experience.
Some people enjoy it so much that they have turned it into a way of life, or at least business.
GWAR for example.
But even those who have taken on the roles of humanity hating space monsters can occasionally display a hint of their human side. The band recently lost one of their members to the human condition, and let a bit of that slip through during a performance for the AV club.
Their performance starts out with a cover of some classic 80's, and ends with a personalized version of Jim Carrolls song, People Who Died.
