Scotland's rejected independence in yesterday's referendum. With a larger than expected margin, the "No" campaign had a resounding victory, and now it remains to be seen whether David Cameron will deliver on his promises of greater devolution.

Japan's whaling programme

Japan says it will not abide by a vote by the International Whaling Commission to limit its scientific whaling programme. The programme was ruled illegal by the International Court of Justice earlier this year. John Frizell of Greenpeace gives his reactions to the latest developments.
