Obama's Dilemma
US President Barack Obama delivered an American prime time television address from the White House yesterday.

He vowed to target the Islamic State with air strikes 'wherever they exist' and pledged to lead a broad coalition to fight IS and work with 'partner forces' on the ground in Syria and Iraq.
Americans polled are all for it, mainly because the beheadings of two American journalists at the hands of the terror group 'Islamic State' have united opinions in the quest for justice for the two journalists.
The American people may be united but what about politicians? Can Obama get the support of Congress so he doesn't just do the talk but walk the walk? FM4's Washington correspondent Pricilla Huff give us her insights...

Rwandan Plastic Bag Ban

The West African nation of Ivory Coast confirmed it will ban the production, use and commercialization of plastic bags following a similar ban imposed by Rwanda, Mali, Mauritania and Somalia. West Africa struggles with an excessive amount of plastic pollution due to poor systems of dealing with refuse removal and recycling. Plastic bags in particular are singled out as causing huge environmental problems. The bags block drainage systems causing flooding and spread of disease.
