Today's Webtip: Cops Gone Wild

Even the U.S. Department of Justice realizes that things aren't alright in Amiland.

Last week I ran into a story that really caught my eye. It was a short overview of police wrongdoing that was put together by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Unfortunately my browser crashed before I could bookmark it, and I spent the last week trying to track it down again. This morning I managed to find it.

It's the type of article that actually provides the numbers and instances of police overreach and civil rights abuses that back-up an otherwise subjective feeling of great unease. I actually find the information inside extremely disturbing and don't know if it's a good thing or a very bad thing that people inside the U.S. government are actually aware of just how bad things have become.
