Today's Webtip: Mr. Money Moustache
Figuring out money is one of those things I wish was a required class in high school. Not just the basics like budgeting and accounting, but the psychology of money and the way it relates to our feelings of satisfaction and happiness.
I realize most Europeans seem to have a much healthier relationship to it than people in the States. Earnings are lower here while the quality of life is considerably higher.
Something that is actually explained (to a degree) in the blog that's today's Webtip in a post about hedonic adaptation..
The rest of the site offers articles about ways to get out of the rat race earlier through a combination of frugality, desire management and smarter spending. A lot of it might be less than news for people round these parts, and it seems to be aimed at the remnants of the U.S. Middle class, but it's still an entertaining read and a view into the money mind of the world financial overlords.
