Today's Webtip: Taking the Piss
I really hate advertising. I say that as someone who has seen it from the inside, taken part in it's creation, and benefited from it's financial impact.
Everything I learned, everything I experienced just hardened my conviction.
I've done what I can to limit my personal exposure to it. I have experienced the difference it makes to keep my kids as sheltered and critical of it as possible. But it's like fighting a rising tide with a bucket.

Some people have bigger buckets, and try to do a bit more than avoid it. Some people want to reappropriate it. Make it there own. Make it art.
