The British parliament has a tradition of loud and sometimes rowdy debating, but the insults, cheering and jeering will have to be toned down by those taking up their seats after being newly elected to the European parliament, where MEPs have to conform to the "code of conduct".
Political analyst Melanie Sully looks at the code of conduct that is meant to ensure civilised debate and honourable behaviour among EU parliamentarians.
