Today's Webtip: Wahl Helfer
So you all get to vote again, huh? Cool.
It's been getting enough press, so I assume most people are aware of the upcoming elections. But it's always good to be prepared so a not so subtle reminder of some of the basic information tools might still be a good thing.
The wahlkabine.at is an oldie but a goodie, and even if it doesn't have any impact on your personal preferences, I have found it can be a good way to jumpstart some self reflection. In some extreme outliers it might even be enough to cause people to look more closely at the platforms of parties they might not be familiar with.
Another resource is www.meineabgeordneten.at
There you will find information on the people in charge. Their education, work experiences, and other connections and experiences that people tend to collect on their way to fame. The site has a special page on the current candidates for the EU as well.
