Egypt and those death sentences

Reality Check tracks the shock and anger outside an Egyptian court today.

Egypt

A judge has recomended death sentences for hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood supporters. The defendants faced charges over an attack on a police station in Minya in 2013 in which a policeman was killed. This was a mass trial whereby the conclusion of the judge led to these death penalty verdicts for 683 People. It includes Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie. So what has been the reaction to this news? We spoke with our Egypt analyst Sammy Khamis.

Further sanctions for Russia

Western leaders are to "move swiftly" to impose additional sanctions on Russia.
