Is the Geneva deal on easing Ukraine’s crisis unravelling? The Ukrainian acting president on Wednesday ordered security forces to resume operations in the country's east, and Russia threatened to retaliate if its citizens' interests are threatened and its territory comes under attack. Syria & Chemical Weapons

Chemical weapons expert John Eldridge give us his assessment of reports that chlorine gas has been used in attacks in Syria this month and how they relate to the international treaty under which Syria is supposed to be destroying its stockpile of chemical weapons:

Last week 16 Sherpas were killed in an avalanche on Mount Everest. Climbers depend on the Sherpa guides to make their ascent, but many Sherpas have now decided to boycott the rest of the climbing season, leaving mountaineers at base camps uncertain about what will happen next. Riem Higazi reports:

Public Value

The ORF today presented its “Public Value Report”, which aims to provide information on how the ORF fulfils its role as a public broadcaster. This is the sixth such annual report and is published in printed form and will also include TV, radio and online features and contributions from Euroepan media experts.
