Today's Webtip: NSA Document Database

The American Civil Liberties Union has made the Snowden documents available in a searchable database.

It's been almost a year since Edward Snowden let the world know just how paranoid they ought to be. In that time countless articles have been written, hands wrung, insults made and I'm sure more than a few hours sleep have been lost.

But there has yet to be a central collection of the documents themselves.

That is something that the ACLU decided to remedy. Last Thursday they announced the publication of a database with all of the currently released documents. It is searchable and you can do some easy filtering based on type of document, type of metadata collected or the legal authority claimed.

It should be interesting to see what comes of this.
