Ukraine set to split

There was 80% turnout, and over 90% voted to join Russia - that's the official result of the Crimean referendum, which offered people the choice between becoming part of Russia, or greater autonomy from Kiev.

Now moves are already underway to formalise the union as quickly as possible.
