Today's Webtip: Trailer Park Boys
The Trailer Park Boys is a bit of Canadian television that has gone global. I can't remember exactly when Riem made me aware of the show, but I do know that when she did I ended up pulling an unplanned video marathon.
I just couldn't stop watching.
The story of Julian and Ricky is a strangely endearing one. The two grew up together in a trailer park, and the show follows the trials and tribulations as they try to reestablish their lives their after an 18 month stint in the slammer.
It's crude, lowball humor that grows on you. Sort of a no-rent version of The Office. With a lot more swearing. And Bubbles.
Bubbles is great.
