The situation in Homs

As the UNHCR is finally getting access to the Syrian city of Homs, a horrific picture is emerging of the conditions people inside the city are facing.

Wang Yu-chi, Minister of Taiwan's Mainland Affair Council, and Zhang Zhijun, Minister of China's Taiwan Affairs Office have had four days of important, although largely symbolic talks in the ancient cultural city of Nanjing.
