Police cleared away barricades set up at the weekend

Tony Cheng reports from Bangkok on the anti-government protests that now seem to be losing momentum after a change in strategy by the authorities.

With the removal of barricades, and in added incentives of preserving tourism, the protests seem to be over, for the time being, at least.
