Fans of Game of Thrones need to be a patient bunch. Readers of the book series already have a long history of anxiously awaiting the next release. Sometimes, someone asks him when the next one will be out, and the answer is almost always the same.
When it's done.
So to help bridge the gap to the next 1500 page release, it's nice to have a chance to dig into a little bit of lore. Listening to Mr. Martin talk isn't quite as satisfying as finding out which beloved character is going to be killed, but beggars can't really be choosers.
