Abuse of workers in Qatar
Amnesty International's latest report paints a bleak picture of the conditions facing migrant workers in Qatar, who have been employed in the construction industry ahead of the World Cup in 2022. Many are living in appalling conditions and being forced to work long hours and in the heat of the day. They may, or may not, get paid, but have no possibility to leave the country.
