After a political showdown, the US Congress has passed a bill to raise the federal debt limit. With just hours to spare before the nation risked default, those in Congress finally agreed on a deal. It extends the government's borrowing ability until 7 February. So what happens after that? We speak with political commentator Dr James Boys:

Modern Slavery

According to the Global Slavery Index 2013 published by the Walk Free Foundation, nearly 30 million people are living in slavery across the globe. Mauritania has the highest proportional figure with about 4% of its population enslaved and people here also inherit slavery from their ancestors.
