US Secretary of State, John Kerry and Russia's Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, meet in Geneva today to discuss the proposal for Syria to hand over its chemical weapons. Military analyst, Paul Beaver, looks at the logistical and technical feasibility of such a hand-over, and the enormous problems such a venture would face.

Supporters of the independence movement in Catalonia have formed a 400 kilometre chain across the region to draw attention to their cause.

The world's largest arms fair is currently underway in London, and while there are 30.000 delegates inside, there are quite a number of protesters outside.
