Bruce Schneier wants companies to do the right thing.

Yes, you are being spied on. No, there is not much you can do about it. Not directly.

Not even U.S. citizens have much of a chance to influence the way things are going. Well, not all citizens. There is one type of citizen recognized by the U.S. that still might be able to make a difference.

Corporations.

Bruce Schneier has an article at the Atlantic asking them to do just that. Im not much of an Optimist, and I don't like the whole corporate personhood thing, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed anyways.

Now if only a few governments would grow a spine...
