That viral video that inspired hordes of ironic net types to put on spandex and go with the toe? It was one of those videos that got famous for all of the wrong reasons.
But at least one journalist is trying to set things right.
Terrence McCoy from the Broward Palm Peach New Times News has crafted an endearing portrait of the woman behind the buzz.
The video is just the beginning though. You really need to check out the article that accompanies it. It's actually a very good example of mixed media journalism as well as being a piece that managed to tug a few heart strings. Well, it did in me anyway, but I'm a bit sappy like that.
