I've never really been comfortable with the cult of the military in the U.S., and living in Europe has only made it a more tangible presence during my trips back home. It also makes it a bit strange for me to highlight a story of individuals working with the war machine.
But the story of Dr. Dave and friends is just too interesting not to share. Hackers and Burners who set up shop in Afghanistan using defense funding to try to help civilians in the war zone.
