Austria has announced it is to withdraw its troops from the United Nations mission in the Golan Heights. Some sources say soldiers could start arriving home as early as next week.

Gegen Unmenschlichkeit

"Gegen Unmenschlichkeit" is a new initiative in Austria, calling on the government to change its policies on asylum seekers.

They have five demands which include access to work and education for asylum seekers, allowing well integrated people to stay, and not breaking up families.

Former banker Ernst Löschner is the initiator, and he tells Joanna Bostock what prompted him to launch the initiative.
