Today's Webtip: Panic Attack
I'm in full on panic mode right now. My primary tool is about to go offline and I still haven't found an alternative.
Seriously. I'm losing sleep over this. I still can´t quite believe that such an amazingly useful service is getting the axe. Google Reader wiped out everything else during the rise of RSS, providing services and usability that no one else came close to. It was the thing that made it possible for me to get stuff done while switching between corporate controlled computers and my own devices.
I haven't found my alternative yet, but I'm not done looking. I am, however, running out of time, and very happy that other RSS junkies are trying to find their fix as well.
Dr. Pete, for example. He is going to be spending the few remaining weeks testing alternatives. One per week until June 1st. I plan on reading every one of them...
