Pakistan

Leading Pakistani politician and former world renowned sportsman Imran Khan is recovering in hospital after falling off a platform at an election rally in Lahore. He is an interesting candidate in the general election, which takes place on Saturday. Shaun Gregory from the University of Brad was campaigning for Saturday’s general election. Khan is expected to make a full recovery. How does this incident affect the forthcoming Pakistan elections:

El Salvador

Beatriz is 22, four-and-a-half months pregnant and seriously ill. She could die if she doesn't get an abortion. Her baby is missing a large part of its brain and would likely die within hours of birth. She lives in El Salvador which has some of the strictest anti-abortion laws in the world and where choices for women like Beatriz are sometimes either prison or death. We hear more from the Central America Women's Network.
