Today's Webtip: Every Noise at Once
Quick! How many different music genres can you think of?
Could you explain how they are related? Or sing a few bars as an example? Could you list off a number of bands or musicians that fit those genres?
I stopped keeping track years ago. I just got too complicated, and nearly impossible to not sound like a dweeb. My ignorance in this area is massive.
And now I know just HOW massive.

I have no idea how they have defined relations, or what distance might represent, or any of theother reasons that glitch was stuck in the middle of things like outlaw country, portugese rock and northern soul, but I do at least know what all of those things sound like. Clicking on any genre doesn't just give you a soud sample, it can also lead you to a listing of bands that fir the genre.
It's quite a bit of fun.
