Last night, many Italians were surprised to find their parliament had been occupied - not by typical "occupy" protesters, but by newly elected parliamentarian, Beppe Grillo and his followers.

Grillo's "5 Star Movement" won a substanial number of seats in both houses of parliament in the elections in February, so it's not entirely clear what he was trying to say with the occupation, other than that a government of some sort is urgently needed.
Jo McKenna reports from Rome on the continuing support for Grillo despite the political stalemate.
