More than a few people have been impressed and/or excited by some of the steps Iceland has taken over the last couple of years.
The decision to investigate the banking industry was one of those. That article is also rather interesting, not just for the content, but because the headline doesn't seem to jibe with what is actually reported.
Another thing that caught peoples attention was the announcement of plans to crowd source the constitution. Talk about participatory democracy...
Unfortunately, it looks like we get to talk about established interests protecting their sphere of influence instead. They seem to have moved the goal line just a little bit.
