KONY 2012 - What Happened?

One year ago, on March 5, 2012, Kony 2012 , a 30 minute film created by three American filmmakers, demanded the global community capture and try Ugandan militant leader Joseph Kony in the International Criminal Court by the end of 2012.
Over the last year, the YouTube version of the film has been viewed more than 96 million times.
In total, there were a whopping 5,469,696 tweets about the African warlord last year. Millions of people ordered Kony 2012 packages to support the video campaign and raise awareness...
Then the NGO behind the video started to come under scrutiny with regards to the motives of some of their donors and one of the filmmakers lost the plot and ran around the streets of San Diego naked. The campaign lost momentum, to say the least, after that...
