Today's Webtip: Snow Candy

and other tasty treats from the sky.

There must be something wrong with me. Despite having spent my entire life in cold climates, it never once occurred to me to try cooking with snow.

And I do mean cooking, and not just using snow as a sort of natural crushed ice. Because ice cream and slushies are just a bit too obvious.

Pancakes on the other hand...

Other people, on the other hand, have not only thought about it but done it. There are several articles online providing links to all kinds of things you can make with snow.

thestir.cafemom.com has a few of the more obvious, like ice cream, sno cones and margheritas.

But the Guardian wins, with links recipes for snow candy and pancakes.

And for those muffin fans out there, yes cou can make snow muffins too.
