Stereotypes are a form of shorthand that almost everyone uses to some degree. Some of those uses can be pretty evil, and some can be pretty funny. I have always found it to be pretty empowering to bend stereotypes, using what I assume to be other peoples expectations in order to entertain myself by bending them.
