Tis the season to get freaky, and it's easier to do than you might have thought. Why go out and pay other people money for nasty masks when you could just slap together some stuff you might have?
Like masks. Face masks, sleeping masks, atemschutz... They can all be turned into something more seasonal with just a little bit of work.

You could also jump on the undead bandwagon, and gore it up a bit. cm0sbutt0n has an excellent example of what can be accomplished with a little bit of talent. The instructable is a bit spare, but the results are awe inspiring.
