Obama comes out fighting

It was a very different Barack Obama who took to the stage last night in New York in his second debate against Mitt Romney. After his rather flat perfomance in the first meeting, Obama came out throwing punches in all directions, and Romney had a real fight on his hands.
While most analysts say Obama won the contest, both put up a good show. It was a firey debate with clearly no love lost between the contenders, with the moderator, CNN's Candy Crowley, being forced to intervene on several occasions.
Our correspondent Simon Marks was at the debate and analyses the event and its likely effect on the polls.
