Today's Webtip: Life in Hell
Life in Hell was an awesome alternative panel comic that cut through the crap of 80's mainstream culture and served up entertaining insights into the adult world I wasn't looking forward to entering. It also gave birth to the Simpsons. A very good thing indeed.
Despite the success of his animated series, Matt Groening continued to deliver Life in Hell for over 30 years, finally calling it quits this summer. A sad moment for many comic fans, but one that I can live with since it means more Futurama.
It also inspired a few famous cartoonists to get together and create a tribute poster. One that has been made freely available to print out and enjoy.
Too Hell With You Matt Groening features the work of 22 of Matts friends and fans, and is being hosted by the Center for Cartoon Studies.
