14 year old girl shot for "promoting secularism"

The young Pakistani girl, who is an activist for girls' rights, was shot twice by Taliban gunmen as the travelled home from school. The militants said they targeted her because she "promoted secularism".
There has been public outrage and the Pakistani government has condemned the attack, but the Taliban say that even if she recovers from her injuried, she will still be a target.
