Today's Webtip: Food Forests
Guerilla gardening was a fun story a while ago. Something that was worth a few webtips and a good bit of media attention. But it was only the beginning. Some places across the planet have gotten serious about it, and forced a few people to completely rethink their idea of food distribution.
Combine guerilla gardening with open source ideas and you get Incredible Edibles. Apply that to a town and you get unadulterated awesome.
Another interesting development in gardening caught my attention yesterday. Food forests. An apparently ancient permaculture practice that is finding renewed interest.
Two great ideas that really need to be put together right?
It's being done. Even in the U.S. There might be hope for them yet...
