Ecuador stirring up a storm
Subscribe to the Reality Check podcast and get the whole programme after the show.
Ecuador is claiming that the British authorities have threatened to storm the Ecuadorian embassy to arrest Wikileaks boss Julian Assange. London says it has simply pointed out that it could have legal access to Assange if the status of the Embassy were to be degraded. It seems unlikely this will happen, but the idea has created outrage among Ecuadorians who feel Britian is treating them as a colony rather than a sovereign state.
Meanwhile, Ecuador's Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino, says there will be a decision today on whether Assange will be granted asylum. Olly Barratt reports from London.
