Today's Webtip: Curiosity
The Curiosity Rover is set to touch down on Mars early in the morning on the 6th of August. Curiosity is a mobile science laboratory the size of a small car which will spend the next two years exploring the surface of mars.
You can watch the landing online at the NASA mission site: www.nasa.gov or you can check out some other broadcasts and events which might provide some more interesting perspectives.
www.spacevidcast.com will be streaming, occasionally providing live commentary and apparently hosting a potentially lively live chat.
twit.tv will be hosting a show featuring info and presentations from expert speakers

And anyone who just doesn't want to wait, and would prefer their info in a more interactive package can check out the JPL Eyes on the Solar System page. It promises a simulated ride on the rovers decent vehicle or a live view during the actual landing eyes.nasa.gov
