Political Change in Mexico?

The Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI, is set to make a comeback in Mexico. The party ruled the country for most of the 20th century, but has been out of power for 12 years. The PRI’s candidate in the presidential election, Enrique Pena Nieto, has a clear lead in early results, but is he just a new face on the same old politics? And how will this affect the drug wars in Mexico? FM4’s David Kriedleder reports from Mexico City.

Full Sovereignty for Kosovo?

The International Steering Group on Kosovo is meeting in Vienna on Monday. Its job has been to monitor developments and promote good governance in Kosovo since it declared independence from Serbia four and half years ago. Now the ISG is set to decide that monitoring is no longer needed, effectively giving Kosovo full sovereignty. Our Balkans correspondent Nick Thorpe explains.
