Today's Webtip: AFP is having a BFP
Amanda Palmer is Awesome. She's also pretty damn adventurous. Which is a good thing for someone who has the chance to make the most of it.
Her latest adventure has been using a new model for financing her work. Kickstarter has been making headlines all over the place with massive boosts for small projects that needed a little help getting started. Thus the name.
Amanda put her project up looking for some cash. She was just a little successful, taking in over ten times more than she was looking for.
And now she wants to celebrate. With you. With us. With the whole darn internet.
Or rather, she did. I guess. I'm still trying to figure out the exact timeline.
In other words, I'm a little lost in Internet time. Between the tomorrows, tonights, and varying timezones of the things being reported and the reporting, I'm completely lost. It looks like the partyeither ended about 4 hours ago, or it will be taking place in 14.
I think I missed it.
