Today's Webtip: Anki
Once you have an attack plan to learn something new, it's probably a good idea to find a way to get it into your head. Anytime you are dealing with large lists of pure info, one of the tried and true methods for doing that is the good old flashcard.
Now, you could just fall back on analog cards, but software based solutions have a few advantages. You can easily add sound and grphics, and you can optimize the frequency. Something the free desktop software Anki does in a flash.
There are versions available for Windows, OS X, Linux and BSD, as well as a free web service. Those who want to help support development and put their cards in their pockets can opt in to paying for a mobile version, available for Android, iOS and Maemo.
Although there is a massive value in creating your cards yourself, anyone who just wants to dive right in can fall back on a huge libraray of existing stacks.
