where Bronies and Whovians come to meet.

I would like to think I am an open minded type of guy. I do my best to understand other people cultural presets, and have even learned to sing along to Abba and watch a football game or two.

But I have been struggling with My Little Pony ever since the first polymer laden abomination landed in my little girls toy box ages ago. I was pretty lucky, and that fad never quite clicked with her, so I thought it was a problem done and dealt with.

Until it started popping up in my RSS feeds. For a while it seemed as though everyone and their uncle were outing themselves as fans of the things. Not just fans, but (ugh) Bronies.

I still refuse to explore the originals, but being a die-hard Whovian led me to experiment with a little cross-cultural exposure.

I am surprised to say tat I rather liked it.
