Ed Piskor has done it again. The cartoonist, who has been producing a semi-regular comic for Boing-Boing, has dropped yet another fabulous look at Hip Hop culture.

This time he takes a look at the early days, with some background info on artists like Dj Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa and a very young DJ Joseph Simmons.
