Today's Webtip: The Written World
Is anyone else amazed that there are still a few places in the world where high quality audio documentaries are being produced? I am. And I am thankful for each and every feature that is produced.
Since I will assume that any of you interested in local audio features are already fans of the fine work being done by my colleagues here at the Funkhaus, I would like to point you to a new short series done by the BBC.
The Written World is a part part feature exploring the history of the written word. From the technological development to it's impact on the history of human culture, Melvyn Bragg manages to compress thousands of years of human history into 2.5 hours worth of radio for your mind.
