Johnny's Journeys: Space Zeppelin

Traveling through time and space in a Magic Zeppelin.

After years of 'fueling' my existence as an artist and journalist, by making interviews with the interesting characters I'd met around the globe, I was naturally intrigued when it was suggested to me that this Boxing Day's edition of Johnny's Journeys could be a tad more fantastical, just a little more out there and a little less... well, true, than the previous editions.

The idea of these recorded conversations being a source of sustenance had been building in me for a while. It wouldn't take much encouragement to get me walking down the sci-fi alley either; I'd grown up watching the original Star Trek and Dr. Who series, and always enjoyed anything with spaceships, robots, and a sense of humour.

And so, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: the radio-play that ate the Johnny's Journeys Special.

* - captured in the form of audio interviews, naturally.

The show largely takes place sometime in the distant future. Together with a brilliant young Open Sourcerer named Krolli van Krolli, I have designed a new Space-and-Time-bending Zeppelin, fuelled by Love, Truth, and Free Expression*. Because those three things are infinite, should this new technology ever take off, it will render nearly all industry obsolete.

Hence, our virgin voyage across the galaxy will be fraught with difficulties; whether we are getting attacked by space pirates, or shot at by Empire storm troopers, special interests will never rest easy until the blueprints of the technology have either gone viral or been entirely suppressed.

Join me and my loyal crew, as we fend off bounty hunters and visit new uncharted planets...

Special thanks to Burst Up, without whose awesome creative input, synthesizer expertise, and music production abiities, this program could never have come into existence as it has. Seriously.
