It's a cow! It's a bird! It's an online collaborative story telling app! Or something like that.

Our use of online media has become a transformation of epic proportions. The steady stream of stories across the net, from 140 character microblogs, to massive photo streams, videos and multipage blog posts have laid the foundation for an unprecedented documentation of our times.

Turning this massive collection of individual stories into a somewhat coherent saga would be a mind-numbing endeavour, albeit one we will most likely see attempted on an ever growing basis. As we wait for the result of individual editors contributions, we can take a look at a technology based attempt.

cowbird.com is just that. A collection of individuals diaries, whose stories are then collected into a presentation of the saga of Occupy Wallstreet. Right now it sems to only be drawing on posting from the site itself, and since it is still invitation only that means there are a manageable amount of posts to view.
