Today's Webtip: More Surveillance
Yesterday was an interesting day on the info-war front. Wikileaks dumped a bunch of documents on the companies making money in the surveillance economy called the Spy Files
It's the standard file dump, with a nice little intro and some background information.
For those of you who would like a bit more to chew on, I would probably suggest another site that went online yesterday. bigbrotherinc.org
A cooperation between Privacy International and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, it centers around a databank of the companies earning their cash by spying on you. The databank is supposed to cross reference the documents on the Wikileaks site, and you can search by company name or country. They also offer articles on privacy, data and surveillance.
