As everyone was fixated with Greece, the Eurocrisis and the G20 last week, meanwhile in the Middle East, Israel was turning the heat up on Iran.

With an Internternational Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report due this week on Iran's suspected nuclear weapons programme, rumours started to fly in the Israeli media about the possibility of an Israeli strike against nuclear targets in Iran. Russia responded to the rumours saying a military strike would be a 'very serious mistake fraught with unpredictable consequences'
