The next couple of days are going to be rather interesting.
Zucotti Park is set to be cleared for cleaning, and the park in Denver has now been closed. A live stream is covering the event in Denver and NYC now.
Tomorrow the rest of the planet is being asked to step up for a global day of action. And if anyone is wondering what OWS might have to do with Austrian politics, there is an interesting summary of things in an article on the "Web of Sleaze and Corruption" in Vienna. More about the Austrian plans here.
Meanwhile Glenn Beck explains what the protesters really want, and that the only solution is a "a forceful crushing from "the top," ... "It will be the Night of Long Knives. It will be a purging of this country."
The U.S: conservatives have attempted to start their own meme to counter the 99%. They are the 53% who think the rest should take a shower and get a job.
And Business Insider of all places does a rather interesting job of explaining what might be bothering the OWS crowd.
Update: Well, it looks like the cleanup has been postponed. www.capitaltonight.com
And finally, we have the 1% who have decided to stand with the rest. Or something like that. I sort of suspect they're actually still in the 99%, but what the heck. It's the thought that counts.
