Today's Webtip: History

The Digital Antiquarian is a series of blasts from the past.

The net erupted with posts on the history of Apple when Steve Jobs announced his decision to step down as CEO of the company. That's not too surprising considering how many people have some kind of interest in the company and its products.

But that was ages ago, and it might seem strange for a blog to release an article this late in the story cycle. I guess some people just need more time to actually work on a story.

Sometimes slow is good.

That's the case with an article at the Digital Antiquarian. Research and reflection resulted in a rather interesting read that includes some things you might not have known about the two Steves.

And for those of you who could quite happily survive without ever reading anything about Apple ever again, there are several other articles worth noting at the site. Ancient computers, gaming, and interactive fiction are some of the main topics being dealt with by a man who seems to really care about his subject matter.

The whole thing is worth a read.
